Council Member Vanessa Gibson: "We Have Work to Do"

New York City Council Member Vanessa L. Gibson attended BCHN's 13th Annual Community Health Champions Recognition Dinner on September 6, and spoke passionately about the need for affordable healthcare in the Bronx.

"As long as we have families, whether they are documented or not, whether they are immigrants or not, coming to this country for a better opportunity, as long as those challenges and those hurdles are in their pathway to accessing affordable healthcare, our work is our not done."
