October is National Down Syndrome Awareness Month!

We are each celebrating this month in many ways.  One of our favorite things to do is to attend the MDSC Annual Buddy Walk and Family Festival!  Join us on Sunday, October 11 for this amazing event!  Come by and say hello to our team members at our BCH DS Program Table!  It's always a wonderful day visiting with old friends and making new ones!

You can also visit our Boston Children's DS Program Facebook page to read daily posts by our Program Coordinator and other team members throughout the month!

Did you know...that October is also National Physical Therapy Month???

Physical therapists (or PTs) help people of all ages and participation
levels improve their strength and ability to move.

Children in our Thursday clinic see PT at every visit. We can also set up a PT evaluation for children coming to our Tuesday or Wednesday clinics.

So roll, crawl, stand, walk, or run and give your PT a hug!
